Buena Vista is a small urbanization close to Mijas Village and Benalmadena nestled in the mountains and only a 15 minute drive to the beaches of Los Boliches and Fuengirola. The nearest International Airport is Malaga.
There are 3 double-bedrooms each with its own bathroom, one in the street level and two upstairs. A comfortable lounge/dining room with satellite TV and stereo equipment. The kitchen has been recently modernized and is fully furnished with oven, hob, fridge/freezer and dish washer. Washing machine available in a closet under the stairs
The Terraces are fully furnished with table, chairs, sun beds, and a large stone barbeque.
The urbanization is served by electronic gates at the entrance. There is a bus stop just outside the development. The bus numbers 121 and 112 will take you to Mijas one way and Benalmadena Pueblo and Arroyo de la Miel another way - you could even stay on to get to the beach at Benalmadena Costa if you wanted - about 30 minutes. If you fancy an evening in Mijas there are ample taxis to bring you home if you miss the last bus, and the development is well known to taxi drivers. Journey home from Mijas cost us around ten euros.
The property also benefits from a superb tropical swimming pool set in beautiful gardens which is exclusive to the residents of Dona Blanca.

Other local activities include tennis, walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking, aqua parks and amusement parks amongst other attractions. Andalucia has something for everyone: the holiday towns of the Costas (Malaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella and Puerto Banus). There are plenty of good restaurants, clubs and bars that line the rocky coast all the way down to Gibraltar which is less than an hour away by car.

Mijas Pueblo, situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol lies only 30 kilometres from Malaga International Airport. It has a varied landscape that goes from the mountains all the way to the sea.
The area of Mijas is mostly mountainous with growing developments along the coast and on the gentler parts of the mountain slopes before they plung into the sea. The Pasadas and Ojen rivers cross this area, they join to form the river Fuengirola which flows into the sea almost on the limits between Fuengirola and Mijas.
The Municipality, one of the largest in the Province of Malaga, with 147 km2 is divided into three different urban areas: Mijas Pueblo, conserving the charm of a traditional Andalucian "white village", Las Lagunas on the coast (the most modern area of Mijas where you can find industrial and commercial areas) and La Cala, a small seaside village in the centre of the 12 kilometres of beaches on the Mijas coast.
Inhabited since ancient times, a small village Mijas was devoted mainly to agriculture and fisheries to the explosion of the tourist boom in the 50s of last century. Since then, tourism and construction sector have been the engines of local economy, triggering at the same time the population and per capita income, albeit at a high environmental cost. Today is a multicultural city with a high percentage of residents of foreign origin and a major residential centers of tourism in Andalusia.

This is a lovely 3 bedroom 3 bathroom house, furnished to a very high standard. It has everything one could need including a dishwasher and washing machine. The two terraces offer plenty of outside space with opportunities to be in the sun or the shade. The swimming pool is shared by a few houses, but was always quiet when we visited and there were plenty of sun beds. The house is in a quiet location but only a few minutes walk from a bus stop. The picturesque town of Mijas is a short drive drive and offers a good range of bars,restaurants and shops. We will be back!

Myself, my partner and three of our children rented this villa for three weeks in July/August 2015. We were very pleased with the villa when we arrived. It was very clean and beautifully furnished and felt very homely. It has air conditioning which we really appreciated bearing in mind the temperatures reached 40 degrees and the villa was equipped with everything that you would need. The rooms were big with en-suites and could accommodate six people easily. We had use of the pool which more often than not we were the only ones using it. The pool was clean and is in a beautiful setting. The views from the villa are fantastic. Booking the villa was easy with a very friendly owner, who provided us with any information we needed and also directions from the airport to the villa. The villa is positioned within easy reach to Mijas town, Fuengirola, Marbella and Malaga and beautiful beaches. The one only problem I had was not being able to work the TV, but to be honest, we were probably better off without it. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed staying in the villa and hope to use it again should we decide to revisit that region in Spain. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Just returned from a weeks holiday with friends in Michaels town house in Mijas, the place is amazing tranquil delightfully decorated and a terrace with a view that has surpassed many property's I have stayed in around the world.
The pictures on holiday letting do not do justice to the advert the master bedroom in particular, to wake and open the shutters to the whole of the malaga coast was amazing.
A car is recommended as it is half way up the hillside to Mijas , but saying that the property is on a lovely affluent gated complex and after a short walk to security gate there is a bus stop where buses run to Mijas Fuengirola belmedena every hour.We where surprised in the great service public transport offered 6 euros for 4 to Mijas and taxis 8 euros.
A private pool shared by only the residents of Donna blanca a 100 yard walk from townhouse which we had to ourselves all day.
All in all a beautiful place to stay all the comforts of home Michael has to be one of the nicest owners I have every rented off a true Gent.

Our holiday over Easter 2015 was our second stay at this house which is in the hills below Mijas. Since we were last here it had been freshly decorated and some new furniture has appeared on the patio. Great place to stay and relax for our spring holiday and may well be back again.

The house is very nice, Andalusian style, placed in a very elegant and civilized neighborhood. It is surrounded by typical Mediterranean vegetation and in the warm days you can hear that characteristic sound of the restful, sea, sun, summer holidays: the cicadas song. As we could see, the area is preferred by cycling and jogging lovers.
We felt there like home, but a home moved in a warm, clear sky and quiet paradise.
I recommend this beautiful house to everyone looking for a peaceful, civilized, fantastic view and all the facilities place.
* There is absolutely necessary to have a car to go to the beaches and to visit all the beautiful places around. We've visited Caminito del Rey, Seville, Granada and Alhambra Castle, Ronda, Nerja, Gibraltar and of course all the coastal resorts.
