The townhouse is part of a complex located in the Urbanization Grand National, next to the Hippodrome in Mijas Costa.
The three story house has three bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (one en-suite with hydromasage bath), a separate kitchen and a lounge with a big terrace in which you can enjoy the panoramic views of the pines and Mediterranean Sea. The nearest beaches are Fuengirola (el Castillo) and La Cala.
There are three bedrooms upstairs, the master bedroom with a double bed and with bathroom en suite; one with two single beds and other with a sofa bed. There is one bathroom shared for the 2 secondary bedrooms, with shower.
In the basement, where you can access directly to the house, from the parking place (for 2 cars), there is a small bedroom for the washing machine.
In the street floor there is a separate newly fitted kitchen, with all the appliances to make your stay enjoyable . The spacious living room access to a large terrace, with terrace furniture and beautiful views. There is also a small toilet in the lounge area.
The house has air conditioning and heating, satellite TV, flat screen TV, DVD and WIFI internet connection available (hotspot).
Externally there are 2 communal pools with beautiful and big gardens, and a paddle court.
The complex is fenced, so it is recommended for kids. In summer time there is a lifeguard at the pool area.Grand National is a very good option for the golf lovers. There are 2 golf courses near the house. El Chaparral and Cerrado del Aguila Golf courses. Both at less than 5 minutes driving. You can see them at the map.
The nearest international airport is Malaga. Mijas Costa is located only 25 minutes drive from MALAGA International airport and has very good transport facilities.
Fuengirola, the city near the beach, is 5 minutes by car. The beaches are all blue flag rated. There is also a large water park that children may enjoy.
There are fantastic supermarkets very close, like Lidl, Euromarket, and Mercadona.
Also very good shopping centres like Corte Ingles or Miramar Centre which is quite big and has a lot of shops, restaurants, tapas bars, cinemas, and Eroski supermarket .
Mijas Pueblo offers great restaurants, shops, outdoor cafe's, its own bullring, donkey taxi’s and many other attractions. Whilst it caters to tourists during the day (they are bussed in), Mijas turns into a quiet traditional Spanish village in the evening and I would suggest that you make a point to stroll in for dinner after the tourists depart.
Make sure you visit the chapel in Mijas (near the donkey taxi stand)…it’s several hundred years old, a good photo opportunity and great views to the sea from the overlook.
Mijas Costa is a good place to visit and discover the Costa del Sol, Gibraltar, cross to Marroco from Algeciras, Cádiz, Sevilla, Granada, Córdoba, Ubeda, etc.
Local Activities: Swimming, golf (33 courses on the Costa del Sol, several very near), tennis (the Lew Hoad Tennis Club is very near) , walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking, aqua parks, amusement parks, and other attractions.

La Cala de Mijas is one of the original fishing villages situated on the Costa del Sol, in the province of Malaga. A charming village with a restored Moorish tower, a friendly village atmosphere and lots of appeal.
Located between the towns of Fuengirola and Marbella, close to popular urbanization of Calahonda, La Cala de Mijas is a very popular town with many good restaurants, shops, chemist and beach-front bars. Malaga International Airport is just 20 minutes drive away.
The town offers a nice easy paced life, not taken over completely by tourism, but with good facilities, a lovely golden sand beach and close to larger towns offering more action.
